Artificial intelligence in practice – experiences from +20 companies

Artificial intelligence can streamline the way we work. So why is the technology not already in use in several Danish companies? Part of the answer is that the challenges of getting started are different than you might expect. A general assumption is that it is difficult to solve a problem with artificial intelligence - but in fact the main challenges are to have sufficient data in high quality and to prepare the organisation for using artificial intelligence.

The Alexandra Institute has interviewed more than 20 companies and public organisations about their experiences with developing and implementing solutions based on artificial intelligence. The results of these interviews can be found in this report (in Danish).

The majority of the interviewed companies and organisations have participated in the DABAI initiative or in the project Innovative Use of Big Data. The main purpose of both of these initiatives has been to strengthen the use of data in Danish companies through collaborations across business and researchers.
